What are the LANTITE exams?

These are national exams in Australia that all teaching students must pass to graduate and become registered teachers.

The test ensures future teachers meet the literacy and numeracy standard expected of the top 30% of Australian adults.

The Test Includes:

📘 Literacy Exam
Assesses reading comprehension, grammar, spelling, punctuation and written communication skills.

🔢 Numeracy Exam
Covers core maths skills including number operations, algebra, measurement, statistics, geometry and problem solving.

Each component can be sat in the same testing window, or in seperate ones . Both must be passed to finish an accredited teaching degree.
